WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE US TO KNOW ABOUT YOU?

I was born in 1991, in Shanxi and graduated from the MFA Sculpture department of Slade School of Fine Art in 2016. Currently, I work as an independent artist based in Shanghai.

My practice revolves around the liminality of “movement” of body and objects. I believe that the authenticity of everyday life can be expounded through somatic experiences.

My work explores how the sensual and physical level of experiences could be transformed through different methods (image, material, text, performance, sound, etc.) to discuss the relationship between the individual and the contemporary landscape of social life.

我是一名生活工作在上海的独立艺术家。之前有过5年在英国工作学习的经历。2016年于UCL, Slade school of fine art MFA Sculpture毕业。我的创作实践持续围绕身体与物体“运动”的阈限状态展开。我相信通过身体感受去阐述日常生活经验的真实性与重要性。我感兴趣于如何将身体体验经不同媒介（图像，材料，文字，行为，声音等）的处理，去讨论个体与当代生活景观的关系。

HOW DID THE COVID-19 BREAKDOWN AFFECT YOUR WORK AS AN ARTIST?

我想我不能回避在疫情下四面八方的信息对于我情绪上的影响直接的影响到了我的工作。一开始的两个月比较难熬，春节后从老家回到上海，被完全困在松江的工作室中。情绪波动总非常激烈，无发专注，时常焦虑，没发投入计划的工作中。在这时候伴随而来的是严重的自我怀疑。后来我和几个艺术家一起在松江的周边开始进行一些在地性的快速艺术实践，投入到以集体为形式的创作当中，比如在松江一间废弃的办公室，以及村子里的民宅与田地
