WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE US TO KNOW ABOUT YOU?
Stephane Ferrero is a French photographer based in Shanghai specialised in Fashion and Advertising. In 2014 he co-founded Revver Magazine, a fashion and art Magazine focusing on the creativity in Asia. Stephane Ferrero artwork explores the links between human being and urbanised environment through series that are exhibited on regular basis since 2008.
HOW DID THE COVID-19 BREAKDOWN AFFECT YOUR WORK AS AN ARTIST?
Covid-19 affected my work in a sense that for few weeks many resources (like studio, models, locations, etc.) were not available. But that has a kind of positive aspect: with limited resources you need to be more creative by using and twisting the available resources.
HAS YOUR WAY OF THINKING/PRODUCING ART CHANGED? IN WHAT WAY?
As photographer, I easily focus on external resources. So my way of thinking is now changed in some ways as I try to keep this spirit of using more what I have in hands. The Covid – 19 changed my way to see things in general. Less consumerism I would say. And that also applies to ART.
